Development and psychology are closely related to the disciplines of education, health and art. However, especially when domestic publications are examined, it is seen that interdisciplinary studies are not at the desired level.

For this reason, the Journal of Development and Psychology (JODAP) aims to include internationally recognized publications that aim to contribute to science by synthesizing information in the fields of education, health, development and psychology with information in other fields.

The Editorial Board of "Journal of Development and Psychology (JODAP)" is generated from 17 different universities and 19 faculty members of 5 different countriesJODAP provides instant open access to content in the fields of  development and psychology, adopting the principle that free delivery of information to the field will enhance the global sharing of information.  Logging in your scientific research and descriptive studies to the system will have a crucial role for the journal.

The APA 6 Writing Rules should be taken into consideration in the referencing and writing of candidate articles sent to the Journal of Development and Psychology (GPD). Candidate articles are subject to a double-blind peer review process. The Journal of Development and Psychology (GPD), which is published twice a year (June and December), adopts the principle that making scientific research freely available to the field will increase the global sharing of knowledge and provides instant free access to its content.

Evaluation Process All articles submitted must be original. The submitted article must not have an ongoing evaluation process in another journal. In addition, no other journal should be applied for evaluation after the application is made. In the event that such applications are detected, no other applications of the relevant author will be accepted to the journal.

The works that arrive to the journal management system are subject to the Editors' preliminary evaluation within 2 days at the latest according to the following criteria.

**Suitable for the scope and subject areas of the journal

**Similarity rate evaluation

**Suitable for the journal's scientific rules (APA 6 Rules) Publication language (Abstract, adequacy of keywords, structured abstract translation, etc.),

The studies that pass the pre-evaluation stage mentioned above by the editors are forwarded to 2 expert referees in the field according to the nature of the study.

After the study is sent to the referee, it indicates to the editorial board whether it will be evaluated or not within 2 weeks at the latest. ,

Referees who do not indicate are removed from the study and a new referee is assigned.

The study is evaluated on the standard Evaluation form for Referees according to the nature of the study.

In addition, if the referees wish, they can submit notes indicating their suggestions and opinions on the full text to the editorial board. The period for referee evaluations is 4 weeks.

The referee opinions for the studies are guiding the Editors in making the Final Decision. The final decision always belongs to the Editors.

Referees can express their opinions for the study in 4 ways: Acceptable for publication Acceptable for publication after corrections (The editorial board checks and decides whether the corrections have been made) I would like to see it again after corrections (The study is taken to the 2nd round evaluation after it is submitted by the authors) Cannot be published (Rejected) A 3rd or 4th referee may be assigned to the study in line with the referee opinions, this process works in the same way as the period stated above. After the evaluation is completed in line with the referee opinions, the referee opinions are reviewed by the Editors within at least two days.

The ethical principles and publication policy to be included in this section have been prepared based on the guidelines and policies published as open access by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

Editors' Ethical Duties and Responsibilities
Development and Psychology Journal (GPD) editors must have the ethical duties and responsibilities specified in the "CODE OF CONDUCT AND BEST PRACTICE GUIDELINES FOR JOURNAL EDITORS" and "COPE BEST PRACTICE GUIDELINES FOR JOURNAL EDITORS" guidelines published by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) on our Dergipark page.

Authors' Responsibilities

Author(s) declare that their studies submitted to "Development and Psychology Journal (GPD) for publication

1. The titled study is original, ethical rules were followed in planning, conducting and reporting the study, and all ethical and usage violations that may occur regarding the content belong to the author(s),
2. It was prepared by the author(s) and did not violate the intellectual property rights of other persons or institutions, all figures in the study were produced by the author(s), usage rights were purchased or referenced with permission,
3. They did not send it to another journal for evaluation simultaneously,
4. It has not been published before; if the submitted abstract or full text is a paper that has not been published, only a summary is published, the necessary explanation is written on the full text,
5. They transfer all our publishing rights, including the corrections deemed necessary by the referee and editor, to "Development and Psychology Journal (GPD)" if the study is accepted for publication.
6. Published, early view or if they notice any errors or deficiencies during the evaluation phase, they accept and declare that they have the obligation to inform the journal editor, to forward and execute requests for correction or withdrawal.

*Ethical Responsibilities of Referees

1. Referees are responsible for not evaluating the article in case of a conflict of interest or relationship.

2. Referees are responsible for evaluating the article by paying attention to the principles of confidentiality and impartiality.

3. Referees cannot use the work sent to them for any purpose until the evaluation process is completed and submitted for publication.

4. Referees are responsible for not allowing the gender, nationality, religious beliefs, political views of the authors to affect the evaluation while evaluating the article.
